Today is worthy of two photos. I couldn’t decide so I’m sharing both!
Geologists believe that these wondrous rock formations were cemented together with dissolving limestone over 20,000 years ago and scientists say they were pillars of glacial till. Whatever they are they’re pretty cool. Take the 5km Bow Valley to Hoodoos hiking trail from Surprise Corner for a greater reward.
Tunnel Mountain Summit
An unmissable hill walk whilst in Banff. This 2 hour round trip hike up to the summit of Tunnel Mountain (1650m) awards the most stunning 360 degree views around Banff National Park. This one over the Bow Valley towards the Fairholme Range.
