Lake Louise
It’s hard to believe that this world famous lake really is this colour blue until you see it with your own eyes. The lake is fed by the Victoria Glacier and the colour is caused by water griding up limestone particles into a fine glacial silt known as rockflour that then flows into the lake. Take the high trail from the Plain of Six Glacier trail to the Lake Agnes tea house for this view. Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada
